Hey guys,
No pics for you. Probably nothing new to you either but I was able to observe deep slab avalanches in almost every n facing cirque above treeline as far as the eye could see from Mt Blackmore summit today. Mt. Bole and Alex Lowe to name a few. All right below Ridgeline and I suspect ran about the same time as the big one on Blackmore and Flanders and the hanging bowl on Elephant head. Clearly this was a very big cycle in the N Gallatin's, sparing very few slopes. Quite impressive to see really. Most debris had a skiff of new over it and the winds were cranking out of the SW. Not gusty, just sustained, face burning wind.
Cheers,
Andrew
